So I decided to act on something I’ve wanted for years and bought a wood lathe. This was my first major project . The light wood is Crepe Myrtle, the dark is from the redwood family and the green is resin. It's been a great week of tattooing and painting. Too many to thank, but you all know who you are.
Inspiration is a reward that comes in many forms and is best unexpected. December 29th was a start for new inspiration, the reward is still flowing. Thank you Amy
I hope everyone starts out with a BANG! and a BOOM SHAKA LAKA!!! Mine sure did, first tattoo of 2016 was from the video game "Skyrim" - Dragon Priest Morokei!!! Oh yeah get your nerd on!!!
Good morning... Never let anyone stand in the way of you reaching your goals. Make it a part of your life, like breathing. Breathing is not something you just consciously "do", it just naturally "is". Keep the people who support you and drive you really close and don't be afraid to love them because they will love you right back without a doubt. All others can be held at arms length. Don't talk about it, be about it!
Spring is finally here and this is a perfect time to get tattooed. The temperature is perfect for healing out that fresh ink with little to no discomfort. With your tax returns it is also affordable.
If you want things in your life to change, you're going to have to change things in your life. Have the courage to do just that and consider that in our society that conformity is cowardness. Have you ever been asked what you really want out of life?... neither have I... but if you were to be asked that question, would you know how to answer? If you have been lucky enough to be asked, are
In the moment trinket tattoos are something I rarely do because I just don't want to ever be known as the guy
who will do just anything because it's money because I'm not an art vending machine. I
In my experience cover-ups are easy 90% of the time and you're not limited to what you can choose to have to cover up an old tattoo. If you or someone you know has had a cover up and end up with an owl, a rose or something big and black, chances are your "artist" just gave you a default design that they could make work maybe because they have a limited creative arsenal.
Personally I find it
Winter is one of the best times to get tattooed. It's the slow season and you may get extra time on your session without paying for it. Also your tattoo is not exposed to the elements, the healing process may take less time and you have less chance of infection from outside influences.
That moment when you have someone coming to you asking for a cover up and wants it done cheap. The same person who came to you months ago asking for the same tattoo, but cheaped out and got it elsewhere.
Painting, it keeps me up at night
Keep your kids out of a tattoo studio unless you're planning on taking them to a bar afterwards. It bothers and distracts the artists as they are working on other people, especially the ones who stayed out of the breeding pool. Would you like it if your tattoo time was interrupted or if the concentration of your artist is broken? Being potentially exposed to bloodborne pathogens from other

Were you were picked on in school, called a weirdo, or just an outcast? Ever wonder what happend to those people who did not want you to succeed? They are probably miserable left in their life choices as a reminder of failure, but not admitting to defeat because that is the hardest thing to do but not realizing it is the best thing that will motivate anyone to become better. Now they sit in the nosebleed section and we are
If you have tattoos that are already healed, you have nothing to worry about if you need an antibiotic prescription. However if you are planning getting tattooed while on antibiotics or have recently finished a prescription (within 2 weeks), it is a good idea to wait until they are out of your system.
My friend Gabe picked up his bow today. I made it with a 50lb draw for deer hunting. The handle is wrapped in deer hide and the thin straps are leather.
It is not acceptable for anyone to take pictures with your phone or any other means of anyones portfolio. That is stealing and you can be arrested for theft of intellectual property.
New business cards and post cards are in! HOORAY!!!!!
Body art tip of the day:
Lettering!
Don't take in pictures to your artist of other peoples tattoos, clip art off of pinterest, google or whatever and expect them to copy it or change it just a little bit. It's very insulting to an actual artist.

You can tell a lot about a person by their choices in tattoos and the quality of work they have on them. People with quality work on them are generally more intelligent for obvious reasons. Folks who have had bad work and are now getting good work, congratulations on your increase in positive brain activity. ... Others who got something nice and switched artists because it was a good deal and now have shittoos, well you know ...
